49 And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”
Jesus was intent on fulfilling the will of the Father from early age. Indeed fulfilling the will of the Father was His very life. John 4:34 (NKJV) 34 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.
As believers we are to have the same mind of Christ. Let the will of the Father be your food. Seek to fulfill all the good works which the Father had planned for you before time. Ephesians 2.
Remember we work not for God's favor but because we have it.
